We start with a captivating view of nature and the stunning terraced rice fields.

At 9 AM: we gather at your hotel or Notre Dame Cathedral (Sapa’s Church) to kick off the tour.

Our trek begins with a 2km descent to Cat Cat village, where you’ll witness the entire village nestled at the mountain’s base, surrounded by terraced fields and traditional Hmong houses.

By 9:30 AM, we arrive at Cat Cat village. Here, you’ll marvel at the Hmong people’s traditional architecture, costumes, and cultural dances. Beneath their houses flows a small stream, the source of the Muong Hoa River. You’ll also glimpse the Tien Sa waterfall and the historic Sapa power plant from the French colonial era.

After a 30-minute exploration, we trek uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Along the way, you’ll traverse through lush cardamom forests and encounter the diverse flora of Hoang Lien National Park. The roadside is adorned with numerous fruit trees that may surprise you.

Around 10:30 AM, we ascend to the mountain’s meadow top, offering panoramic views of Sapa town and the Muong Hoa valley, home to villages of the Black Hmong and Giay ethnic groups. This is a unique opportunity to interact with these vibrant communities. Capture memorable photos before continuing along local trails to reach the village.

By 11:30 AM, we settle for a picnic lunch on the grassy hilltop, where you can savor your meal amidst breathtaking landscapes.

    In the afternoon:

We delve into traditional villages and local culture.

At 1:00 PM, after lunch, our trek resumes as we visit the homes of the Hmong people. Here, you’ll gain insights into their daily lives, traditions, and be captivated by the beauty of the natural landscapes and terraced fields that surround their homes.

Around 2:00 PM, we arrive at Lao Chai village. Here, we delve into customs, habits, and traditional tools while listening to stories of house-building and agricultural work on the terraced fields.

By 3:00 PM, we reach Ta Van village, inhabited by the Giay ethnic minority. This village offers a unique opportunity to experience the cultural contrasts between the Black Hmong and Giay communities, including differences in architectural design. Ta Van marks the concluding town on our tour.
