When you reach the top of the mountain, you’ll find a hill with a flat top and steep sides in a flatland area. It stands higher than the surrounding land but is smaller and lower than Fansipan Mountain, at 1,900 meters above sea level. From here, you will enjoy panoramic views of Sapa town, Fansipan (3,143 meters), the Silver Waterfall, and nearby villages. You will also encounter some of the country’s most representative animals, such as water buffaloes, cows, and goats.

In The Morning: Trekking & Climbing To The Top Of The Mountain (3 Hours ~ 8 Km)
At 9:00 AM, our guide will meet you at your accommodation or Sapa’s Church. Following a brief introduction, our driver will take you on an 8 km journey to O Quy Ho village.
By 9:25 AM, we commence our ascent from O Quy Ho village. Here, you’ll encounter a variety of Sapa’s agricultural products, such as Chayote (Su Su), cabbage, pears, and green tea. You’ll also discover a small waterfall and continue to a beautiful red rose garden, where traditionally, roses symbolize love, perfect for expressing affection on Valentine’s Day.
After about 40 minutes of trekking, around 10:30 AM, you may encounter cows and goats among the stunning landscapes.
By 11:00 AM, we’ll have reached the first peak. The view from here is not just awe-inspiring; it’s breathtaking. It overlooks a grassy field where you can relax, take a short nap, and capture some truly stunning photos.
At noon, we’ll go to the final summit, where you’ll enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in a scenic spot prepared by your local guide. This summit offers an even higher vantage point than the first, providing the best panoramic views of Sapa, including sights like Fansipan Mount, Silver Waterfall, Ban Khoang village, Ta Phin, and more, weather permitting.
In The Afternoon: Downhill – Sapa Villages And Rice Fields (3 Hours ~ 7km)
At 1:00 PM, after lunch, our journey continues downhill. Along the way, you’ll be struck by the sight of old trees, still standing despite being dead, a unique and memorable part of our journey.
By 1:30 PM, you’ll observe buffalo, goats, and cows grazing amidst breathtaking views of Ban Khoang and Ta Phin villages.
By 2:00 PM, passing a small hut, you’ll witness the simple yet contented lives against the mountain backdrop.
By 2:30 PM, we arrive at Ta Phin village, home to the Red Dao and Black Hmong ethnic minorities. The Red Dao are renowned for their herbal medicine practices, utilizing local plants for various ailments, while the Hmong have distinctive marriage customs.
You’ll also enjoy stunning vistas of the rice fields, a staple food source for the local communities.
At 3:10 PM, you will reach the heart of Ta Phin village, where a car will transport you back to Sapa town.
By 3:40 PM, we return you to your accommodation in Sapa. Remember to bid farewell to our guides and stay in touch. This journey promises unforgettable experiences and perhaps new friendships forged.
