During this motorbike tour, you will visit 7 different villages belonging to the Hmong, Giay, and Red Dao ethnic groups. The tour provides an opportunity to appreciate stunning mountain vistas as well as Sapa’s major river and valley.
You will also have the chance to view the renowned rice terrace fields and gain insights into the customs, traditions, and culture of the four primary ethnic minorities in Sapa. Our guide will share information about the unique marriage customs of the Hmong, their agricultural practices, house construction methods, and much more!

In The Morning: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Hau Thao and Giang Ta Chai (15km ~ 3.5 hours)
The tour begins promptly at 8:40 in the morning. You will be greeted by our guide either at your accommodation in Sapa town or right in front of the main church in Sapa. After that, the team of motorbike riders will provide you with instructions on how to sit properly and ensure your safety while riding on the motorcycle. Once all preparations are complete, you’ll embark on an exciting day of exploring Sapa.
9:30 AM: You’ll arrive at Y Linh Ho, a quaint village inhabited by the Black Hmong community. Here, you will have the opportunity to take in the stunning panoramic views of the Muong Hoa Valley, along with the breathtaking landscapes filled with lush rice paddies.
10:00 AM: You will reach Lao Chai, another traditional Hmong village where you can enjoy yet another beautiful scenic vista. Our guide will share insights about the terraced rice fields and narrate the fascinating history of Lao Chai village.
10:30 AM: We will take a brief pause for some rest and to capture photos along the route as we approach Ta Van.
11:00 AM: You will arrive at Ta Van, which is known for its Giay ethnic minority population.
11:30 AM: We continue to Hau Thao and Giang Ta Chai communities, where you’ll have time to snap pictures against the backdrop of picturesque views.
12:00 PM: We will stop for lunch at Su Pan village, where a small market is located.
Afternoon: Su Pan – Thanh Kim – Ban Phung – Sapa (Around 25Km ~ 3 Hours)
1:00 PM: Following lunch, we will proceed with our journey to Thanh Kim, a village inhabited by the Red Dao ethnic group. This community is known for its adherence to traditional ways of life, including their distinctive ethnic attire, which has remained largely unchanged over the centuries. The men and women typically adorn themselves with black or red scarves as a customary head covering.
1:30 PM: If time permits, we shall extend our visit to Ban Phung village. However, if we are pressed for time, we will return to Sapa around 2:30 pm. The timing of this return may depend on whether you plan to travel back to Hanoi on the same day or stay in Sapa a bit longer. Please inform us of your plans.
4:00 PM: We will arrive back in Sapa town.
(The tour is expected to conclude around 4 pm in Sapa town, allowing you the opportunity to arrange transportation back to Hanoi or any other destination afterward)
